Christopher Anthony John Martin is an English singer, songwriter, co-founder of the British alternative rock band Coldplay, multi-instrumentalist and record producer. He is better known as Chris Martin. He was born on 2 March 1977 (age 39) in Whitestone, Exeter, Devon, England to father Anthony Martin (retired accountant) and his mother Alison Martin (music teacher). He has done his pre-preparatory from Hylton School and the preparatory Exeter Cathedral School and boarded at Sherborne School in Dorset. He has completed his graduation from University College London (UCL), staying at Ramsay Hall and first-class honors in Greek and Latin with future Coldplay bandmates Guy Berryman, Will Champion and Jonny Buckland. Including A Rush of Blood to the Head, X&Y, A Head Full of Dreams,Ghost Stories, Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends, Safety and The Blue Room, they have released seven studio albums. On 5 December 2003, Chris married to American actress Gwyneth Paltrow without their friends and family. The couple has a daughter “Apple Blythe Alison Martin” was born 14 May 2004 in London and son “Moses Bruce Anthony Martin” born on 8 April 2006 in New York City.
